All editing, signing, redaction, comparison, cropping and forms run in browser workers, free and unlimited. No upload, signup, Turnstile or daily quota applies. Up to 20 files (exactly two for comparison), 500 MB total and 2,000 pages per batch; device memory can require smaller batches. Original files remain unchanged until you export a new copy.
What should I check before exporting?
Add and edit your own objects or replace a selected native text fragment. Replaced pages are rebuilt with safe selectable text; this does not reflow the source layout. Whiteout only covers content: use Redact PDF for permanent removal. Undo and redo apply separately to each page.
Can I use Edit PDF now?
Edit PDF is available now, free and without signup. Processing happens entirely on your device.
Where will Edit PDF process my files?
Files are read, processed and rendered in browser Web Workers. Nothing is uploaded. Cancel stops the worker immediately; originals remain unchanged.
