What should I know about the output?

Choose a specific country/document preset, align the head guides and export a photo plus an optional 4 × 6 inch print sheet at 300 DPI. Requirements vary and acceptance is not guaranteed: check the linked issuing authority. Background colour fills transparency only; this tool does not remove the existing background or retouch a face.

Can I use Passport & ID photo now?

Passport & ID photo is available now, free and without signup. Processing happens entirely on your device.

Where will Passport & ID photo process my files?

Files are read, processed and rendered in browser Web Workers. Nothing is uploaded. Cancel stops the worker immediately; originals remain unchanged.

Will Passport & ID photo be free?

Yes. Unlimited free uses, without signup or a daily quota. For device safety, choose up to 1 files, within 500 MB total. The general decoded-image limit is 100 megapixels; AVIF encoding and animated GIF processing use a 16-megapixel limit. Smaller batches are recommended on low-memory devices.
